We compost all our waste materials and plants etc and use the compost enrich our soil.

Step by step we’ve been transitioning into a more environmentally friendly business.  We are working on transitioning to heating our farm (including greenhouse, and high tunnels) strictly with wood leftover from a local Amish sawmill located about 5 miles from our farm. We’re excited about the progress, but we’re not satisfied to stop where we’re at.  We’re always looking for more ways that we can become more sustainable.
